Being a part of a work community, means every few years we have to say good bye to colleagues that have added enormous value to our organization and have truly helped us advance our mission. This week at CCSNE, we are saying good bye and congratulations to Tim Krumreig who has been with Campus Compact for the past five years and is moving on to a new position at Northeastern University Center of Community Service.
Tim began his tenure at Campus Compact as a Massachusetts Campus Compact VISTA (MACC VISTA) hosted by Simmons College in 2013 and then served for two years as a VISTA Leader with MACC VISTA. In 2016 Tim joined the MACC staff as program manager. When Massachusetts Campus Compact merged into the Campus Compact of Southern New England (CCSNE), Tim continued in a program management role with CCSNE VISTA.
Tim has had a deep impact on corps members as well as a lasting impact on the development of the CCSNE VISTA program. A former Bonner Scholar at Oberlin College, Tim furthered his passion for supporting low-income and first-generation college students. He has also worked with numerous VISTA host sites who are addressing basic needs security issues in order to support retention of low-income students. Tim reinvigorated the community engagement professionals network in Massachusetts and continues to serve on the boards of Impact and the Massachusetts Service Alliance.
We wish Tim the best on his next adventure and are so happy that he will stay in the Campus Compact network! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Tim for your service to Campus Compact!
