No Student Should Face Hunger Rally
September 26 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pmFree
This is a Worcester-focused event, but is open to the public, and is led by the Worcester Food Policy Council, Regional Environmental Council, and Worcester County Food Bank.
Healthy food is a basic human right and essential to health and well-being. No student should have to live off ramen noodles or make trade-offs between food and books, rent, or transportation so that they can get a degree.
Join us to talk about how hunger is impacting our college students here in Worcester, highlight what this is like for students who face this struggle, and build momentum for local, state and federal solutions.
On September 26, the last Thursday of Hunger Action Month, we will gather behind Worcester State University’s Ghosh Science & Technology Center at 3:30pm, to hear from students, professors and deans from Worcester higher education institutions and to open space for students to raise their voices and network with each other across colleges.
