Please join us for the last workshop in our three-part Pathways workshop series,¬†Service Learning & Civic Engagement at Community Colleges, which focuses on teaching strategies and innovative learning opportunities within service learning and community engagement, specifically within community colleges. The workshops are explicitly didactic in nature: that is, workshops teach participants specific concepts and techniques, and focus on practical implementation in the college classroom. Campus Compact’s Newest Publication

Campus Compact released a new publication, Assessing Service-Learning and Civic Engagement: Principles and Techniques. This publication¬†offers a broad overview of many issues related to assessment in higher education, with specific application for understanding the impact of service-learning and civic engagement initiatives. This revised edition includes an additional chapter that explores recent changes in the assessment landscape and offers examples and resources for designing assessment strategies for community engagement in higher education.
