Meet the Guest

Dr. Suzanne M. Buglione

Dr. Suzanne M. Buglione is Dean of Teaching and Learning at Bristol Community College, where she is responsible for faculty and staff development, academic support, library resources and experiential education.  Her experience includes over a decade of college instruction in undergraduate and graduate education and developing First Year Experience programming, outcomes assessments, prior learning assessment, and a center for service-learning and civic engagement.  Suzanne has presented widely and has authored articles and chapters related to the community college, civic engagement, the scholarship of engagement, service-learning, adult learning, identity development and faculty development. Suzanne is the recipient the NSEE Outstanding Experiential Education Research/Dissertation Award, the IARSCLE Honorable Mention Dissertation Award, the League for Innovations in the Community Colleges Roueche Excellence Award and the League of Innovation 2018 Patricia Cross Fellowship. Suzanne earned her doctorate from the University of Massachusetts at Boston focusing on nontraditional learners in Service-learning in higher education.
