Recipients Honored at Awards Breakfast

On Wednesday, June 17th, administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community partners from CTCC’s member institutions joined us for the third annual awards breakfast to honor some of the great work of Connecticut’s higher education and civic engagement community. Among those were three individuals and a campus-community partnership who were selected by a committee based on applications and nominations. Member Spotlight: Quinnipiac Drive Collects 4.5 Tons of Food

For the seventh year, Quinnipiac students participated in an end-of-the-year food drive that collects nonperishable food items from resident halls to benefit nonprofit organizations in New Haven and Wallingford. The project is supported by Quinnipiac University’s Director of Community Service, Vince Contrucci, who is an active member of CTCC’s Community Engagement Professionals Network (CEPN), a group of faculty and staff from throughout the state who meet throughout the year for networking, collaboration and professional development.
